THE BRAVE FEAR

I was just thinkin about his a while back.......
no matter how brave a person is he will always have somethin to fear.
it may not be fear of reptiles or fear of drowning,
it may not be arachnophobia or claustrophobia,
it may not be fear for his own life.
but deep down i'm certain he fears loss.....
loss of his loved ones.
coz however dispassionate a person is,
he is bound to be attached to somethin or someone.
"well what is ur point" u ask?
my point is that no matter how many fears of urs u conquer
u will always fear losing the object of ur affection
the thing u treasure and feel most passionate about.
axn's fear factor only proves
people can overcome small physical and mental fears
but nothing related to loss of life.

i think ur talking about emotional fears.. are they really unconquerable ? i don't think so ! as u say, the fear of losing a dear one is probably the greatest fear and while it is true that most of us succumb to it, i believe it's equally true that it is in fact not impossible to condition one's self to be immune to it's effect. De-attachment is the key ..the choice is ours to make. The human mind is indeed very capable.. we ourselves limit it by underestimating it.

its way beyond emotional fears.its a combination of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fear. fear of the unknown, fear of lonliness, fear of pain, fear of loss.unless u r in a trance i dont see all that being conquered. i cant say i know it.it is just my perception of life and existance.
do u have any examples to support ur view.... i have most of the world as an example.
i'm not saying that it is not possible but i need to see it or feel it to belive it.
and if there is such a thing, i would like to believe it.is it moksha??(but i think one can attain moksha inspite of loving someone)
coz though i don't see god i feel the presence of this great power that no one can really explain and what we've termed as god.

i don't think that it's moksha. my opinion of this comes from my self ..my experience. i have only one fear ..of losing a dear one but i know i choose to live in that fear in order to stay close to those dear one's ..i don't WANT to be de-attached from them. i have no other fears ..simply 'cos i've already experienced & conquered it or 'cos i'm not afraid to experience it. it is just a state of mind ..a trance indeed :) for example : a yogi who's taken sanyas ..what does he fear ?
